We want to welcome you to Canada.  In our class, we have been studying Canadian holidays that are celebrated by all Canadians.  We looked at  Canada Day, Halloween, Remembrance Day and the Canadian Thanksgiving.  We have sent the  information that we collected about each holiday and what our favourite holidays are.  

We also learned about the holidays that are celebrated in the classroom.  Since most of our students are from either China, Hong Kong or Korea we studied the  Chinese New Year as well .  We have  sent you a picture of one art lesson that we did that shows how diverse our classroom is.  The Canadian flag has all of our hand prints with our countries of origin in our hand prints.  We have also included the pictures below of our cultural foods feast below.  Everyone brought foods from their culture for us to taste.  Everything was very yummy!
